H.0.P.E. - Health Opportunities through Physical Education (1.0 high school credit course)

Course Description:   The purpose of this course is to develop and enhance healthy behaviors that influence lifestyle choices and student health and fitness.  Students will combine the learning of principles and background information in a classroom setting with physical application of the knowledge.  Students will split their time between classroom activities and physical activities. 

Classroom time:   Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday - Classroom 237

                             Thursday and Friday - Meet in locker room and dress out in PE Uniform

Supplies 

Students will need to come to class every day with a charged Chromebook and headphones.

Textbook

Health Opportunbities Through Physical Education

We have a class set of textbooks and all students have excess to the online textbook.  Directions are in google classroom under topics (Textbook - logon Directions).

Classwork

All work is done in class and can be found in google classroom.

Test

Test are on Skyward.  They are multiple choice, matching and true/false.  To prepare for each test, students can reveiw the chapter in the book, review chapter slides, and review games provided by the teacher.

Google Classroom:

All work is assigned in google classroom. Students are to look each day to find their assignments.
